You can contribute to the Review of the Tauranga District Plan. This review takes place every ten years but is not the same as the Ten Year Plan. This review allows every rule, policy and objective in the Plan to be altered. A coloured pamphlet “citydirection” was recently sent out. We urge all environmentalists to get involved. Protection of the beach, dunes, reserves, trees and Outstanding Natural Features and Landscapes can be either enhanced or lost during this process.
